Look how far we've come...

Fletcher turned 2 years old on Wednesday, June 24, and it really does seem like just yesterday that he shocked us with his early arrival. I was amazingly calm when they told me he had to be delivered 8 weeks ahead of schedule. I really don't think I ever considered the possibility that he wouldn't be okay.

He was only 2lbs 15.5 oz, but he always had a full head of hair!

Yes, those are my hands, although they look like Man-hands from Seinfeld compared to him.
As I look back through our pictures, it's amazing to see how much he's changed. Here are a few of my favorites.

He's always wanted to be in the middle of the action, so this seat got a lot of use.

I remember trying to take this picture, and he kept falling over on the couch.
No one has ever accused him of being shy.

One of my favorite shirts he out grew way too fast!
Once he could crawl, he was into everything.
One of the first attempts at self feeding.
This is probably still my favorite picture, and I took it by accident!

At two years old, he is pretty laid back and we get comments all the time about his hair. But he is so grown up compared to the tiny baby in the box I visited in the NICU.
He LOVES Elmo...

and his daddy. We went to the baseball game for Father's Day.

Happy Birthday Fletcher!
